Horse Racing Rules
The following are special rules for horse racing at Hailmary.
Wagers are accepted until post time. If a wager is made after
the race has begun, it will not be accepted. We do not assume
liability for wagers that are unsuccessfully entered before post
time.
Only wagers confirmed with a "yes" are accepted, please
insure to check the pending wagers screen before logging out to
see that your wagers where accepted.
Once you confirm a bet online, your wager is considered final,
we cannot cancel confirmed wagers.
Rebates:
A rebate of 3% will be paid on all wagers on a daily basis.
There are no minimum weekly volume requirements and there is no
maximum on how much you can earn.
No rebate will be given on cancelled wagers or wagers refunded
due to a scratch.
No rebate will be given on phone wagers. All phone wagers, even
if the site is not available, are not eligible for the rebate.
Odds and Limits:
Win, Place, Show wagers pay full track odds. All other wagers
pay full track odds up to a maximum payout of 300 times your
original bet amount.
There are no limits on how much you can place on any one horse
or bet type. However, you will see that each ticket has a bet
limit (typically $1,000), you simply need to make multiple bet
tickets to get to the bet amount you seek. There is a $20,000
limit per betting ticket.
There are no house odds. If there are no track payoffs for a
certain type of wager, all wagers on that type will be
refunded.
Scratches:
If a horse is scratched, all Win/Place/Show wagers placed via the racing interface will be refunded. (This does not apply to 'Odds to Win' bets placed via the sportsbook. On those bets a scratch counts as a loss).
Only the portion of Exacta/Trifecta/Superfecta/Quinella combos that contain the scratched horse will be refunded.
For Daily Doubles, if a horse is scratched before the 2nd
leg, a consolation will be paid on that combo, as specified by
the track payouts.
There are no refunds PK3 and 4 ticket parts when the first
leg scratches. As we currently do with scratches in the 2nd,
3rd legs, and or 4th legs; any first leg scratches will
automatically be substituted with the post time favorite for
that leg. In the event a scratched entry in the first leg
make's it's way through the system, and is not included with a
winning post time favorite in the official track results on an
otherwise winning ticket, the ticket part will be refunded.
