the tournament's table screen. All players can easily see the exact stage of
the tournament in which they are playing.
- All heads up tournaments will start automatically once both players are
seated.
- At the start of the heads up tournaments, each player is dealt one card
face up. The player receiving the highest card gets the dealer button for the
first hand. A tying high card is broken by suits based on the following order:
spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs.
- The small blind will be the button and the first to act pre-flop. This
rule is a standard heads-up (1-on-1) poker rule.
- There will be no breaks. Poker tournaments continue straight through until
one player has all the chips and is declared the winner.
- Hailmary will not assist in any deals between players during poker
tournaments. Heads up tournaments continue until there is one declared winner
and the payoffs will be winner take all.
- Players must understand and accept the risk of internet disconnections, as
they can and do occur. If a player loses connection and does not re-establish
connection or fails to act in the allotted time, his hand will be
automatically folded and he will be posted and folded until such time as he is
able to re-establish connection. Eventually, the player will be "blinded out"
if he does not re-connect, and the tournament will be over. The only
exception, is rule 15.
- In a multi-table tournament, you'll be given more time to reconnect and
when it expires, your think tank will engage if you have money invested in the
pot. At expiry of time in the think tank, you will be folded, except in the
case of the final table at which players will be given up to 240 seconds to
re-establish connection prior to being folded.
- During the tournament, if you are connected to the game server when it is
your turn to act and you timeout by failing to act within the allowable 30
seconds, your hand will be FOLDED.
- In the rare and unlikely event of a server problem, all tournaments in
play will be deemed as cancelled. Once the server re-starts, we will refund
the full Buy-In and entry fee of each one-on-one player.
- Hailmary reserves the right to remove Railbird chat privileges for players
if any abusive or harassing language is used.
- Management decisions are final.
